1. Host / Hostess
The host or hostess job description in a broad overview is to supervises and coordinate the activities of the dining room in a restaurant. The host/hostess stand is as much the lifeblood to a restaurant as the kitchen or bar, but is am often overlooked position. Better restaurants realize the importance of this position and compensate it properly while others just look at it as a necessity.
2. Receptionist
A receptionist is an office/administrative support position. The work is usually performed in a waiting area such as a lobby or front office of an organization or business. The title "receptionist" is attributed to the person who is specifically employed by an organization to greet any visitors, patients, or clients.
3. GRO - Guest Relations Officer
The main purpose is to look after our high profile guests and anticipate their every need. A proactive and professional approach is necessary. You will be working closely with the Front Office Manager and liaise with all other departments to provide the best possible customer service. You should have initiative and not hide behind the desk/computer all day.
Your duties include welcoming guests, giving hotel inductions, assisting with luggage, usual Concierge duties, complaint handling and resolving any issues the guest might have.
